  Duties and Responsibilities: The role of a patient representative is to act as a mediator between a doctor and a patient.

   Salary: Between 24,000 and 36,000 dollars

       Education: Some colleges offer classes for medical assisting, that can take from 1 to 2 years to complete.

       Demand for this particular career:  There is no clear need for this profession.
